What are Page Types?

Page Types could be more properly defined as page templates. They are added to the site from within the Pages Application. The most frequently used is the ATLAS Page (menu item) page type which creates a new blank page with the site header and footer automatically installed. Some page templates provide you with a content entry view to fill in the text and images leading to a fully automated page creation. Knowing what page type to select is based on what information will be conveyed. Explore the various page types to build out a website below.

General Page Types

These page types are the most commonly used in building an ATLAS site. 

ATLAS - CONTENT

A basic page type that is often used to create landing pages or pages that are redirected to another URL.

ATLAS - CONTENT IMAGES

An interface for adding thumbnail graphics or icons to the content tree to be called into the Repeater Widget for display on the page in columns and rows.

ATLAS - CUSTOM BID

Using the premium Custom Bid page template creates a new page with the My Custombid Widget pre-installed.

ATLAS GALLERY IMAGE PAGE

This page type is used to add the images and optional captions that are used in a Gallery Widget.

ATLAS - HOME

Allows the building of a new alternate website home page for a brand refresh or for a special event.

ATLAS - IMAGE

Used to add images into the content tree that are used in a Hero Slick Slider Widget.

ATLAS LIST ITEM

Add individual list items, which can include a photo or icon, text and buttons, to populate the Feature List Widget.

ATLAS LOCATION

Location information such as contact information, services, images, and a location map are automatically displayed on this page type.

ATLAS - PAGE (MENU ITEM)

This frequently-used page template creates a new blank page for building standard content with widgets. Automatically installs the header and footer.

ATLAS - PILLAR

The pillar template makes it easy to add and organize the content that will appear in a linked Pillars ATLAS Widget on the webpage.

FOLDER

Adding a folder page type facilitates organizing and grouping files in the content tree. These files might be page types of their own, images or documents.

Blog Page Types

Three page types to assist in the building and maintaining of a blog or blogs.

ATLAS BLOG

Added to the site as the foundation for a full-featured blog application.

ATLAS BLOG MONTH

Specialty folder to organize blog posts by month in the content tree appearing in the blog crumbtrail navigation.

ATLAS BLOG POST

Interface used to create, edit and store an individual blog post by its author.

News & Events Page Types

Create individual rich news articles and events that feed into widgets on the page. 

ATLAS - NEWS

Interface for adding a news article including text and photos to feed into the News Feed Widget.

ATLAS - EVENT

Create a single event with photo and text to feed into the Events Widget.

ATLAS - COOPERATOR

Custom news content administrated by a TFC website administrator only.

Job Postings Page Types

Specialty page types to create and edit detailed job postings.

ATLAS - JOB POSTINGS

A pre-formatted page type featuring fields specifically related to job postings.

ATLAS - JOB POSTING INTERN

A pre-formatted page type featuring fields specifically related to intern job postings.

Product Catalog Page Types

Page types to assist in the building and maintaining of a non-e-commerce product catalog.

ATLAS - PRODUCT MASTER CATEGORY

This page type is typically used only once in the Atlas content tree to establish a main landing page for the product catalog.

ATLAS - PRODUCT CATEGORY

Lists all the products flagged with a particular category in the Product Application.

ATLAS - PRODUCT TYPE

This lists all the products flagged with a particular sub-category in the Product Application. 

ATLAS - PRODUCT

This page type is a standalone product detail page for each individual product in your catalog.
