Getting Started
1. In the Pages Application, click the plus icon to add a new page to the content index
2. Select ATLAS - News Page Type from list of available page types. Note the newspaper-shaped icon.
3. Select News Details page template and click "Continue"
4. Complete properties fields below
5. Click Save
Properties
| PROPERTY | DESCRIPTION |
| News Title (required) | Text entry field for a concise news article title which will appear on the page |
| News Release Date (required) | Select date from calendar interface. Note if you set the date in the future the news article will appear on the site when scheduled. |
| News Summary (required) | Short descriptive paragraph (recommended). This will appear on the page in the News Feed Widget. |
| News Text | Full text of news article which may include photos, graphics, text and links. |
| Show Image | Check the box to show thumbnail image in body of news article and in the News Feed Widget. |
| News Thumbnail Image | Select image from Media Library Application. Image appears in navigation drop down if applicable. Recommended size is 350 x 300. |
| News Thumbnail Title | Tooltip type text which appears on image hover |
| News Thumbnail Description | Text describing details of an image to provide more complete information |
| News Thumbnail Alt Text | This attribute provides alternative information for an image if a user for some reason cannot view it (because of slow connection, an error, or if the user uses a screen reader). Optional but recommended. |
| Facebook Image | Select image from Media Library Application. The ideal image size for a Facebook image post is 720px, 960px, or 2048px wide, with flexibility in the corresponding height |
| Sidebar Title (required) | Text entry for title of sidebar display. The default entry is Read More News. |
| Sidebar List Type (required) | This determines what articles are shown in the sidebar. Chose from:

| News Article Display | Number entry field determining how many articles show in the sidebar. |
| Categories | Add relevant categories from the Categories Application. These categories will govern which news articles feed into an instance of the News Feed Widget. |
