Location Special Hours Widget

During certain times of the year, departments or locations may have special extended or reduced hours. For example, in the fall a retailer may extend the hours at their grain receiving locations to handle all the grain coming in.

We have created a way to display these special hours and keep website visitors up to date with the latest information. The Location Special Hours widget allows you to set special hours for certain locations, while maintaining regular hours for the rest of the locations on your location pages.

Note: to share location special hours, data must first be entered into the Locations Application

How to add a Location Special Hours Widget

After location special hours data entry is complete, the Location Special Hours widget can be added to any page or pages in the website.
Note that any update to the data in the Location Application will immediately propagate to instance in the website.

1. Select where on the page you would like the Location Special Hours widget to appear
2. Click on the blue plus add widget icon
3. Select the Location Special Hours widget from the widget pop up
4. Once the widget is added to the page, hover over the added widget until it displays the properties and trash
icons. Click on the gear-shaped properties icon.

5. In the Location Special Hours properties pop up, add the title text that will appear on the page above the hours.
6. Click Apply button to update the widget with selected properties. The properties pop up will automatically close.

How to delete the Location Special Hours Widget

Hover over the Location Special Hours widget until it displays the properties and trash icons and click on the trash icon to delete.

How to reposition the Location Special Hours Widget

Hover over the Location Special Hours widget until it displays the grab icon on the left. Simply drag and drop in a new location.
