Hero Image Widget – Now with Animation!

Two Kinds of Animation for the Heroes is Live

An animation known as the Parallax Scrolling Effect is now an enhancement for the very popular Hero Image Widget. As users scroll down the page, the background image moves at a slower pace than the content in the foreground. This creates an illusion of depth, making the website page feel more interactive and interesting.

In addition, the widget animation has a Fade-In Effect to subtly draw the eye to the text and buttons in the hero as they fade in to full opacity when loaded.

You need do nothing differently in your preparation of the hero images. The effect works perfectly on all devices and does not effect loading time.

How Can I Add These Effects?
Simply checking the "Enable Animation" checkbox at the bottom of the widget properties window will automatically turn on the animation.
