What is RP - RSS Feed?

The RP - RSS Feed widget works with the "ATLAS RSS data source" widget to bring in a feed from another site and display it on your site. This can include feeds from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more.

How do you configure RP RSS Feed?

Creating a Data Source

Before you can use the "RP RSS Feed" widget, you must first create and configure an "ATLAS - RSS data source" widget. Inside this widget's properties is where you can insert the link from the site the feed is coming from. For instructions on how to create and configure RSS data source, see the "ATLAS RSS data source" page.

Configuring the Widget

Now that you've created an RSS data source, begin using RSS Feed by clicking the hamburger menu in the top left corner of a foundation layout and choosing "Add new widget" from the dropdown menu.

In widget properties, in the "Data source" name field, type in the source of the data--this will be the name of the ATLAS RSS widget-- enter in "ATLAS_RSSDataSource." The Page type field should be "RP Widget Transformations" and "RP RSS Feed CTA" should be the transformation name filled in already for you. Then press "Save & Close."

How do you Use RP - RSS Feed?

Use the RP - RSS Feed to display a feed of content from another site on your own site. This widget is good for displaying news from news organizations or social media sites, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
