The ATLAS Event Page Type is a preformatted page featuring content about a specific event such as date, time, location, and event summary. Events are then featured on a page using the Events Widget.

Getting Started

1. In the Pages Application, click the plus icon to add a new page to the content index
2. Select ATLAS - Event Page Type from list of available page types.
3. Complete properties fields below
4. Click save

Properties

Event name (required)

Text entry field for event name
Event SummaryText entry field for short summary of event which will appear on the page
Event DetailsText entry field for enhanced event description that will appear in an event pop-up window on click
Event LocationText entry field for event location
Start DateSelect date and time from calendar interface
End DateSelect date and time from calendar interface
Thumbnail ImageSelect image from Media Library. Recommended dimensions are 320x213. Please upload an image of size not more than 100kb
Image TitleThe title attribute on an image adds a tooltip with title text to the image. Hovering the mouse over the image will display the tooltip. Optional but recommended.
Image Description
Text entry field for descriptive copy of the image used to provide alternate text for those using screen reader applications and to assist in search engine optimization. It’s optional to add this text but it is recommended.
Image Alternate TextThis attribute provides alternative information for an image if a user for some reason cannot view it (because of slow connection, an error, or if the user uses a screen reader). Optional but recommended.

Publish ToSelect date from calendar interface
